Tony Chapman

Tony founded Capital C in 1992. Since then, he has worked with a wide spectrum of national and international clients, representing many of the top ranked brands in the marketing world. He has led his team in a steady stream of award winning campaigns, and has garnered national and international awards, including, in 2007, recognition as Marketing’s Agency of the Year. A true visionary, his ability to change the rules of the game, his passion, and his relentless pursuit of the BIG Idea inspire Capital C’s employees and clients alike.

Tony is continuously sought after to lecture, speak, author and provide thought-leading opinion on the future of marketing, across multiple outlets and media channels, from TV, radio, university lectures and international conferences. In January 2008, Tony became one of the youngest inductees to the Marketing Hall of Legends – a testament to his cumulative contributions to the industry throughout the past three decades.

Tom Clune

Tom has lived in the agency side of marketing for 25 years with a primary focus on the Client Service area and a desire to help clients win. Throughout his career, Tom has gained experience at all levels, supporting clients across channels such as consumer packaged goods, retail and B2B.

Prior to joining Capital C in 1992, Tom worked in Sports Marketing and Corporate Communication with The Communiqué Group in Toronto. In his current role as Chief Operating Officer, Tom continues to work with clients at a relationship level, as well as supporting agency personnel through establishing performance goals, allocating resources and assessing best practice operating policies.

Victoria Calverley

Victoria is a Chartered Accountant and MBA who brings to Capital C 20+ years of experience as a CFO of creative and entrepreneurial companies. Prior to Capital C, Victoria was CFO of Butterfield & Robinson, an adventure travel company in Toronto and practiced with Ernst & Young and KPMG in Toronto and San Francisco.

As a founding partner at Capital C, Victoria has built the infrastructure and management reporting systems that serve as a foundation for strong financial stewardship, and has overseen strategic acquisitions and partnerships that have enhanced the company’s reach and capabilities. A strong proponent of measurable results, Victoria works with both internal Account Service teams and clients to enhance accountability and to optimize return on marketing investments.

Bennett Klein

Bennett is Capital C’s resident creative planner. Many of the agency’s ground-breaking programs, including the global phenomenon that was Sunsilk’s Wig Out and Nissan’s breakthrough Hypercube, owe their success to Bennett’s ideas.

Livia Zufferli

Livia began her career as a strategist in the management consulting industry, at the Toronto office of Monitor Group. As a consultant, Livia spent several years traveling throughout North America advising on corporate strategy matters for a range of clients in the financial services, consumer goods, and pharmaceutical sectors. She later put her love of all things retail to work, joining Shoppers Drug Mart as Director of Business Strategy and subsequently, Director of Marketing Strategy.

Since joining Capital C, Livia has grown the Strategic Planning and Insights practice into a key component of the agency’s offering.
